I agree wholeheartedly. I'm not an American though, and that's something I think that I have full right to be proud of. Grr.
To cheer you up though, here in Sweden gays are allowed to marry. Often they don't do it in church, but I believe it can happen. Of course there are protesters here as well, but all hell breaks loose if officials and priests say anything denouncing - we have freedom of speech of course, but official people are not allowed to critizise personal matters of other people.
Slowly, we're getting to the point where one day gay marriage will be acceptable and seen as normal in the people's eyes. Even with a hudle like jackass Bush in the way, Massachusetts and Vermont have both made same sex marriage legal and he couldn't do anything. When he tried to change the constitution to ban gay/lesbian marriage, he was denied.
The Iraq war is fucked up. Liberate the Iraquies my ass, he went in there because his father had a grudge against them.
I could go on and on, but I've written enough, I'm just glad that in four years I get to boot his ass out of the White House and replace it with Hilary.
The biggest reason we're in Iraq is b/e of the oil.Stupid fuckin greedy republicans.I feel sry for the ppl that voted for him. They don't knwo what they got themselves into.
I just want you to know, I did NOT vote for Bush and I'm very proud that he did NOT win my state. I stayed up all night watching election coverage and nearly cried when they eventually announced that Bush won re-election.
I want to point out that future presidents may very well reverse some of the damage that Dubya has done. Gay marriage may one day be legal throughout the country and Social Security may be saved. Unfortunately, they can't bring back those that died in this pointless war...
1. Gay marriage= union between MAN and woman? That's quite logical. Way to proofread. Though that stupidity is also demonstrated by the fact that you can't read her userinfo that says she's 12, not 10. And even if she were, she'd still have a right to her opinons. Also, if you're going to condescend, it'd be a mite less obnoxious if you didn't do it anonymously to said "stupid ass 10 year old
