Dammit!

Carina MacKenzie (@cadlymack on twitter) just confirmed that Allison Mack does not have a part on HBO's Girls. She was asked by a few of us to look into it yesterday and she's great for getting to it so soon but I'm so disappointed. Damn them, they don't know what they're missing out on.

I'm sure she'll get something else soon, she's talented enough that she won't go unemployed for long periods of time.

And hey, look on the bright side, maybe it'll give her the opportunity to hop across the pond hit the West End!

Anyone know the part she auditioned for? HBO would be lucky if she had been cast as lead!

the leads were cast last year when they made the pilot. She auditioned for a recurring role

It could've been she wasn't the right mesh for the part or maybe there was someone else who physically fit what they originally had in mind. The thing is she's still in contact with the wunderkind producer so maybe they'll consider her for another role or write one specifically for her.

To put this in perspective, Mitch Pileggi auditioned for X-Files two or three times for different roles before he was cast as Skinner. It wasn't until he read for Skinner that they were like, "Oh this guy is perfect."

I was thinking the same, at the very least, if they liked her, which I'm sure they did, Allison is now on their radar and being friends with the mind behind it all now doesn't hurt either. :)
Would be nice if she would get a different part later on in the series.

Anyway, since she didn't get this role... can we get her to guest star on Supernatural now?! I would even be okay with her jumping onscreen laying one on Dean, peck Sam on the cheek and hug Castiel and then run off again. :D

I want her on Being Human as well, they just got the S2 pick up and I'd love for her to have a recurring role opposite Sam Witwer.

THIS! Those two have so much chemistry. And bonus! Both can act. :)
