When the bee stings

I have moved recently, One hour away from work, so exhausted at night when I come home, but the weekends more than make up for it. I have a balcony where I can sit with my cup of tea, my book, (the cat), and watch the world go by. It took me a while to settle down, to get into the flow of things.

Loving the photos!
Hour-long commute would suck, but I can imagine that spending the weekends in such a place would be lovely. :)

I know! I'm making an effort, staying longer and later on weekdays and abstaining labwork on weekends. How are you? heard you were looking for housing? Where are you planning to move to?

Ah, you have a Routine! (I'm envious... god, I need to kick my arse into gear...)

Haha, nah, not that organised - the uni was just [meant to be] running a few 'how to look for housing/write an application' seminars on one of the days I was in, so I thought I'd check it out for future reference... UNTIL THEY GOT THE DATE WRONG. That said, a friend of mine in full time work is DYING to move out with someone, except none of our friends are willing, so ideally I'd do it with her... but I earn like, $160 a week, plus I'm back to studying full time. I dunno how people manage FT study + independence; they must have super time management or something because I so couldn't do it. :(

On a side note, your latest photos are beautiful, as always! (I especially love the last sun-behind-the-clouds one.) They totally look like some kind of professional stock photo you'd see on Getty Images or something!! How do you get such amazing colours/clarity?

just an expensive camera and photoshop =) if you don't have the former than the latter works wonders.

omg, growing up, not fun!

I find it sacrilegious that you, you being YOU, is allergic to cats! This one quite demanding la, wants vigorous petting all the time. She meows and my hand sticks out and do the petting. Kinda turned me into an automated petting machine. Pavlov's conditioning la.

thanks! my house from the outside looks like a dump la, because it's so old. it looks like my neighbours house. i can try, but inside is not very pretty. we're all college students here, too broke to decorate :p one day i can have one of my own, in a nice suburb, then i can decorate to my heart's content.
