I also wished I could forget about seeing Sophia again, but I figured that was a lot less likely to happen.
"No, Ryan. Don't." I said quickly to him as I rolled over onto my belly on my bed. Molly was out of the room somewhere and she'd been acting strangely anyways. I guess the other slayers death hit her pretty hard. It wasn't an easy thing and Molly was....Molly. Not exactly equipped to deal with tragedy. Plus, she was so much more social than I was. Those girls were her friends.
"They've got the school on lockdown. Spike and Kennedy aren't letting anyone out or in. You'll get turned away at the door."

Rubbing the back of my head, I got back into the other lane and sighed.
"I need to talk to you and it's something that I can't tell you over the phone. You don't think they'll let me in? They know me ..." What was going on down there anyway that would make them have a lockdown? Did I miss something?
I didn't think this telling her that her sister was back thing could wait.
Shit.
"I'm about to turn on the street," I told her as I turned onto it. "Is there anyway you can come out? Maybe?" That would probably be a no considering it was a lockdown, but I needed to see her and hopefully, Spike or Kennedy didn't see me.

"Hey," I said, then swallowed as I pulled away.
Looking past her, I stared at the school, then looked back at her.
"What's with the lockdown. Did you girls get in trouble?" I asked and pushed some hair back behind her ear. Anything to stall the sister coming back from the dead thing. Yeah, I can uh ... stall for a little bit.
