so i just got done hanging out with kelley. we had dinner in this very bustling gay neighborhood and talked. she went to wellsley, where she graduated in may and will start teaching english for a year. she was an extra in "mona lisa smile" and got to meet an alum who was the spokeswoman for grace kelley AND went on a date and was kissed by carrey

sonia! i am so glad you're finding your niche and meeting people. it is so refreshing to meet fellow english speakers. where is the gay neighborhood? i am spending the day in madrid on nov 4 (or whatever that sat is), and i know the girl im going with would love to check it out. btw, you are MORE than welcome to come that day too. let me know.

i can so relate to all the peluquerias and zapaterias! spanish people im told (and have noticed) are very aware of how they look. but that is a good thing if you want to buy shoes or get a manicure or whatever, because the many options drive the prices way down, as youve probably noticed.
