Just got home. It's about 98.12% official that I'm all gradumicated from college. Today was the history department convocation, and I'm pleased that it went well. Dinner with my family was not perfect, but enjoyable. But that's why they're family. Just because I love them doesn't mean I always have to like them ( Read more... ) -

Well that is pretty much that. I just got off the phone with Guy Purser, our VP. I will be leaving Seattle on Thursday June 15. That gives me ten days to finish this final (I'm about halfway through the second half), take one more, work a few days, graduate, commence, pack, get a u-haul, load it up, and then... drive to San Jose, where I'll be ( Read more... ) -

I'm working on the second essay for my take-home final. It's supposed to be about critiques of consumerism.
This is my thesis paragraph:

A man's worst difficulties begin when he is able to do as he likes.
I feel pretty good, which is quite an accomplishment after a day that started out pretty not-so-good. Just one of those Murhpy's-Law kind of mornings. Cold shower, couldn't find anything, missed the bus, yaddayadda. I put together a poster presentation for my consumerism class tomorrow.
I spent most of this afternoon working with scissors and glue sticks.
All I need now is graham crackers and grape juice for Snack Time and I'll be back in second grade.
It's deliciously ironically fitting that this is the last paper/project I have in college. -
