Okay so I've been going out on dinners a lot with Dongyeol and we went to Namsan tower last Saturday. And we took some really nice photos but my fucking memory card died on me so I have one T_T ( Read more... )

I'm sure they have those shops that save data from broken disks and cards in every street corner, and the fees must be much more affordable than here.

There's no gratification in it, if progress is made in a rapid order. Especially since you probably have to climb over several cultural boulders sooner or later.

I think it is very romantic to wander the streets at night aimlessly and silently. I actually had a vision in my mind of some independent movie with a scene 'Seoul at night' that mixes elements from Kaurismäki movies with an urban, booming, Asian setting. Maybe you should start writing the script!

Btw, did you take pictures from the previous gigs, or is it even allowed in general?

(I read your entry ages ago, but I forgot all about it because I didn't have time to comment on it right away.)

Haha, it felt like that too! Just like from Kaurismäki movie ^^

Yeah well I have to go and see where they could try to revive it, my poor memory card.

And no, definitely not allowed! If they catch you with camera, it's instant kick out and no way to get in anymore. So I don't even want to try -.- I want to see the concert from beginning till the end

What's it called when you are shocked by the similarities that your own and some other culture share? Like, the antithesis of culture shock? Hmm, culture similarism shock? Well for sure it can't be reverse culture shock, since the term already defines the situation when you e.g. return to your own country (aka re-entry shock). I'm such a nerd, checking it from Wiki. Btw, the guy who invented culture shock was born to Finnish parents.

Ah, okay. But if it's common practise that there's official HD material available later on, no wonder that the no-camera rule is accepted.

Ot, I just bought three different varieties of (fake) diamond lace or whatever it's called. And yes, before you say anything, I do feel like a deranged Paris Hilton from Hell.

I need to go to Dongdaemun to shop in the fabric house for you. ^^

A lot of girls stil manage to take photos and fanclubs have photopasses and such so yeah. And the DVD is always released too. Just, for yourself you get nothing but concert goods and fading memory

Um..um... I'm not sure if that can be called as culture shock because the cultures are similar. Talking about that, still no culture schok whatsoever ^^ it's just growdy but figures when there is 12 million living in the city
