Yes, I do realise Halloween was yesterday but I was kinda busy so I couldn't comment then. I've never gone trick-or-treating seeing as Halloween only made an appearance in Europe a few years back. Not that there are a lot of people that actually participate in trick-or-treating but anyway!
This year I was Elphaba for Halloween (and for work) and I got my own Galinda and Fiyero! Okay, so we got the genders a bit mixed up seeing as my friend Tom was Galinda en my friend Christine was Fiyero, but we had a wonderful time.
lol ur halloween sounded like fun :) i did'nt kno that there's no halloween in europe!? don't you have school off and the family over for food on all saints or all souls day, though? idk, maybe it's just france. reply! :) -Riley <3
We don't have Halloween but we tend to go to church on All Saints and visit the cemetery. My grandfather also invites the entire family to come and eat something called "Boekwijtkoeken". It's like pancakes but instead of using flour, we use something else. It's common in Belgium to visit your family on All Saints but I don't know about the rest of Europe.
And my Halloween was fun. Even if the cabaret was a little crazy! But my fellow castmembers made the entire experience amazing :) It was also great publicity for our show so it's all good. It's funny, but I can't get used to the way theaterpeople party. Almost no one drinks any alcohol but they still act like their drunk :D
