Well shit son. I woke up yesterday morning and discovered a terrible looking rash dealie on my face... went to the doctors, she said I was having an allergic reaction to something and my face was hivey.. so okay, that sucks.. she gave me some weird allergy steroid things and said to come back tomorrow

I'm sorry if this is a little strange. I found your journal through "Most recent" on LJ's front page... and I realized that I had the same problem once about 6 years ago. I saw a few doctors because I couldn't even open my eyes. But I thought I would share what worked for me because it took the doctors like... 4 days to figure it out, and that sucked!

Keep your face cool, Do not apply heat or moisture, stay awake as much as you can (your body produces a drug that clears your face naturally, but slows the production of it during the night)
Drink coffee... and keep active.

The doctors had to give me a steroid because it didn't go away.... another thing that you might consider is going to the hospital and getting a shot of "epipen" (not sure how that's spelled) But it's usually enough to speed up your system, effectively clearing it up.

it should go away with the steroids. expect a change in the next 48 hours. if not, or if it becomes difficult to breathe, go to the emergency room and they can give you a shot of super-steroids that'll clear it up in like, an hour.
