yeah, it's daft and everything but dad reckons that if he wanted to find it it wouldn't keep hiding or anything because we told him about the time with the you-know-whats and he figures it probably knows when we're around and stuff.

i don't know. i just know he doesn't make any noise and it's kind of creepy. i mean, i'm pretty sure i hear him mumbling sometimes but mostly it's just creepy quiet. maybe whatever was going on at the Dursley's has stopped, because he hasn't been in any broom closets or anything, you reckon?

yeah that sounds about right actually anyway i sort of miss the old thing too don't tell mum that but i used to sit in the back and write and it would sort of rumble a bit like a big cat purring so it was sort of like having a pet (other than the chickens and stuff obvious). i wonder if it found other anglia's in the forest, do you think??

well i wouldn't really worry about it yet i mean if it's stopped now it was probably just because of the dursleys i don't think i'd be able to sleep there myself from the way harry describes them.

d'you really think there are other magically mad cars running around in the forest? c'mon gin, not even you are that thick, i mean, it's a nice idea, found itself a little farm where it can run free with others of its kind but really. it's the only ford anglia i ever heard of that can fly.

i probably wouldn't either. i'd have to take a wand to that fat sod, dudley. but i'm not sure that was it because he never did it before. i guess maybe it's because of...well you know, with snuffles and everything, but that doesn't make sense either.

maybe he's just gone off the deep end, i think probably if anyone deserves to be mad, it's harry, yeah? i don't really think he's gone crackers. i think he's just exhausted.
