things are going along really well lately. classes are brilliant, because now hermione is helping me, and although harry is being very sullen i think he's in quite a good mood too, i think it's the best that can be expected after the quidditch ban, maybe better. i mean, it's a setback really, but it is not over, GRYFFINDOR WILL FOREVER BE ( Read more... )

Well, Ron, I think your doing very well in your charms homework, and I think if there is something that's giving you... um, trouble you should just ask, because you know I am perfectly willing to help in any way I can, except, you know, when there are certain things that just aren't... okay. But I think they are obvious, or they can be, sometimes. If those things aren't obvious I suppose I can tell you about them too. I mean, I will. Tell you.

I quite like it when we get along as well.

Um, yes. I think your grades will get up soon... or...um, yes.

oh well, that's good because i was worried that you thought i was rubbish at charms and that would be sad, because i rather want to be good at them...they're useful.

well there is nothing in particular that is bad for me, i mean unless you see that i am having trouble somewhere that i don't know about. but on the whole i think i'm doing all right, better anyway than before.

and that's good, that you'll tell me the kinds of things i shouldn't be asking about because i'd rather not ask about them if you're going to say that it's stupid to ask and just ignore it or say that i ought not to have asked such a bloody obvious thing to you because we're trying to work seriously and that is not helping or something.

i'd like that. grades are sort of important sometimes, i mean, now they are kind of so i'm glad you're going to help.

I don't think you're at all rubbish at charms. In fact, I think that you're very good at them. I think, as with all things, charms just takes a bit of work. Or practice. Um, yes.

I'm glad that you like charms. I mean, I'm glad that you like me helping you with them. Or... yes. You should ask things, because, for instance, if you wanted to do a Wonky Faint, you wouldn't just go out to the pitch and do one perfectly. You would study diagrams, or read books. To get the theory down. And you would practice. And I don't think that there is anything stupid you could ask, because when you're learning, um, you should ask, because, unless you've done, well, done it, er, charms before, you won't know things. You haven't done charms before, have you? Has anyone...else helped you?

yeah i suppose your right, i ought to practice more often really, because i'm not sure i'm quite good enough for flitwick so maybe if you had some more time for tutoring, i wouldn't mind working some more on it.

a wonky faint? why would i want to do a wonky faint? it would hurt! oh. OH. you mean a wronksi feint? yeah, i suppose i would but really that's kind of viktor krum's signature...but we don't have to talk about him or anything, unless of course you've heard from him recently or maybe wrote him a letter or something, but that isn't important.

um. well. not really. i mean i've had a little bit of help but not this kind, because really they didn't like working with me very much and i actually didn't like working with them, so i guess it all works out then.

Well, if you just treat a lady like a lady, then everything will be spiffing.

yeah i guess, although hermione isn't exactly a lady, she's one of my best mates and also a wicked good gobstones player. but it's good adivce all the same.

i'm sorry for making amanda hate me, because you seem all right. good luck with that, then.

Every girl is a lady! You've got a sister too, mate, you should remember. They spend hours when they're small just being Princesses and Queens and other lady-things.

Amanda doesn't hate you, I don't think. She just doesn't believe you have a soul.
