Ok, so, I just bought an iTunes music card, and I want to be very deliberate about choosing the songs I'm going to buy with it. What are some songs that you suggest? I'm in to just about anything, well, not really rap and all that, but I like alternative, folk, pop, good ole rock-n-roll, jazz, rock, etc, etc. I'm kind of looking for something

I like The Fray a lot and a band on myspace called Northern Room is similar. Not sure if they have anything on cd/itunes yet though.

I've watched Grey's Anatomy occassionally (I was always busy when it was on), and I liked the music I heard when I did watch it. So, I'll have to check out those songs.
I've got a lot of the songs you suggested in the 4th paragraph...haha. Matt Wertz IS awesome!!! I bought one of the songs off his newest EP last night, and I have his CDs.
I plan on borrowing my friend's David Gray CD(s), or just buying them...agh...I wish music wasn't so expensive.
I might ask you for a few songs, if I can't find them on iTunes or want to listen to the entire song before I buy it. I'm trying to be good and not pirate music anymore. :)
Dude, we just need to get together and have a music party or something!

Dispatch is awesome! Thanks for introducing me...I downloaded all the songs they have on myspace! I saw their 2-disc + DVD Live record at Best Buy the other day for $15! Do you suggest I get it?? hehe. I don't think Walk With You is on it, though.
I'm going to have to go buy another music card...or two...and a lot of CDs. haha. I really shouldn't blow all my grad money on music, but I so could!!!

Eastmountainsouth is beautiful acoustic folk. They're a duo that I'd highly recommend. They unfortunately only have one CD, self-titled. My favorite songs are You Dance, Rain Come Down, and Ghost.
As far as Christian music, you've probably already heard most of these, but my favorites right now are Nichole Nordeman (especially her "This Mystery" album) and Watermark. And Chris Tomlin's Arriving CD is awesome.
