i know exactly what you mean. i think a lot of people have that emotional attachment to music... i'll hear a song on the radio that i havent heard in a while and go "that was the song of my life a few years ago.." and it wont relate to my life at all now. it's interesting.

growing up is so weird sometimes when you sit down and think about how you've changed and how you react differently to things.

yeah, it's crazy what kind of memories flood back with certain songs.

do the get up kids sing that song... "we driiive dave steps on the gas, the world that flying by is slick and smooth... big rays of light.. the radio is playing queen and we're rocking out..."? that's the only "emo-ish" song that i will ever admit to liking, and i dont even consider it emo. just a whiny singer voice.

thats saves the day. the lead singer of the get up kids is way less whiny than the lead singer of saves the day, however the song your talking about is before the lead singer of saves the day got OVERLY whiny lol.

yeah i listened to a lot of emo ish music when i was 18
