She laughs, pleased. "If I'd have known socks were traditional, I'd have added some to the gifts. You are all far, far too sensible to be knights, you know that?"
Niko finds the gift without its giver, unwrapped, just sitting there on their (once again shared) bed. He looks at it curiously for a moment, before discovering the note; he sits down heavily on the bed, reading and re-reading those three words, and then smiles.
Having torn away the paper around the gift, Lynet makes a face, looking down at the silver comb, and says sourly, "What, do you think I'm my worthy sister, that I have time to spend on frivolous hair-styling?"
