Looking over old posts I realized I never really post anything super significant about the goings on in my life. And with the exception of a couple of rare occasions, when I do it's semi-cryptic to the point where I don't even remember what it was really all about. Going to start changing that and actually writing about myself. Maybe it's a way of ( Read more... )

Hooray for posts of substance! I like Facebook and all but it's so much nicer to be able to look back through old LJ posts and remember different events and feelings, IMO.

Agreed wholeheartedly. Facebook's much better for pictures and events.

I think that's pretty awesome that just as the majority of people are drifting away from lj and posts of substance that you are just starting. :) I don't know about anyone else but I love writing my lj for me, its fun to look back at the different crazy people I've been over the years. Ha. And what else am I gonna do with all those retired years but drink and relive the glory days on lj? :p

You can apparently get cheap frames here I plan on doing an arty movie posty theme in the living room when/if I ever get around to it, because I don't have the girl gene for decorating.

I also find it interesting that you're trying to put more effort into your online journal when so many of us have relegated it to the periphery. I can't seem to find the words whenever I bring up the update page anymore and usually give up. Self evaluation is good. And you know what they say about its the things you don't do that you end up regretting.

Although, I can't say my posts over the years have led to much but a vague sense of embarassment over my immaturity over the years :) But whatevs, I was 17 when I started this thing or something.

I'm really glad you seem to be doing well.
