Paul vs Heresy the eternal battle

Today I ran my Dark Ages Inquisitor game, and despite a lot of OC sillyness (a lot caused by me) I had a really quite fun time playing an NPC, the first time I think I've ever really got into character as a particular NPC whilst Gming.

Froth about my game )

I suppose as an inquisitor you *have* to be righteously, single mindedly assured - after all, you've dedicated your life to kicking the shit out of people who disagree with you and pointedly ignoring as many sensible logical arguments that aren't your own as possible, and that takes dedication.

I was very impressed by your portrayal of brother henry, to the point where I genuinely felt really quite sorry for him, locked in a cell with four self-righteously smug gits taunting and coercing him 'for the good of his immortal soul'. Poor bastard. Sure, he was a demon worshipping heretic. But he was also a stand-up kinda guy, with many of the *right* ideas. Yeah. That's it...
