A wrongelation

It has occurred to me that in the past few weeks, I have in fact managed to convert the word "Consecrate" into the service of Wrong. I consider this so kinda of achievement.

Con-se-crate
Verb
To declare or set apart as sacred.
"We consecrated Sister Isabelle in the name of the Merchant."

Isabelle. With an "s", and no "o"s, dammit!

You know the last time I had a Maelstrom dream it mostly involved Izza worrying that people were spelling her name wrong and it was going to get her killed (it was complicated, but made sense in that weird kind of way that dreams always make sense at the time).

Yes, I know it's is my own stupid fault for spelling it all french in the first place. It was unintentional. I forgot that's not how real people spell it (and it's not like Free Islanders can spell anyway - the Book of Varas stands as living proof). But there is no excuse for adding random "z"s where they're not wanted.

*Reviews post* Well... maybe there is. Damn my intuitive spelling of shortened not-words.

Isabelle is the logical spelling that I've been *wanting* to use because it comes naturally to hand and I have an aunt with the same name - but for some reason, I was under the impression that our dear little happy bouncy ex demon-pacted smithite's name was spelled Isobel. Thinking about it...I might have inferred that spelling from Tom. I should have really known better...

Hehe. I like it. "This sound is isobel with this one."

Actually, to continue the discussion, I assumed the spelling was Isobel, rather than Isabelle, which I have seen before, but only rarely and usually for Mediterranean girls.
