had dinner with our neighbors tonight...it was pretty good. I think my spinach-ranch dip was the most popular dish.

As in, I feel like being mean.
Sundays suck.

Duty section muster this morning. I had to get up, get in uniform, and be at the quarterdeck by 0715 on a saturday morning. I wouldn't mind so much if I hadn't been on watch until midnight last night. Oh well. It's the part of Navy life they don't tell you in the brochure. And I guess I can't complain too much...this job is pretty awesome.

Yeah at least I ran the entire thing today. More than I can say for some of my platoon. I'm doing better.
Oh yeah--I stepped on the scale today. I shed 3 pounds this past month! Yeah. I managed to lose weight during Christmas.
At this rate, I ought to be back in weight standards by March.
Yay!

yeah, the sun is shining, the sky really is kinda blue, BUT I feel cold.
