Dear diary...

Yeah. A friend of mine insisted that I use that for a title sometime. Since he lent me his NTSC PS2 with Wild Arms 5 and Wild Arms - Alter Code: F, I decided to do it.

So, dear diary...

Been playing Wild Arms 5 for the last few days now. Interesting game, with the decent battle system of WA4. However, I don't like the whole Move & Act part. I like it better when it was one or the other, not both. Now you can't flee from enemy attacks. And the huge MP cost for the upper-level OC's are just ridiculous. 84 MP for Hi-Blast? Come on.

The graphics, sound, characters and the overall feel of the game is good so far. Greg is hot. I don't care if he's a bunch of pixels. He's a hot bunch of pixels.

I've also been playing Final Fantasy: Dissidia and Crisis Core, both games of decent quality. It's amazing how their graphics look better than the ones for the PS2. I also want a FFVII remake. Like, now.

White Collar! Or as I like to call it, "cop show with funny characters". Seems to be good so far, mainly because the relationships between the characters are very good. Also, does Tiffany Thiessen ever stop being hot? Woof.

Been reading Captain America volume 3. You know, the one with good storylines, great art and a really bad-ass Sharon Carter? I like her so much more when she isn't the doting girlfriend. Well, as much as I can like her after CA v5. Oh yeah. I did get into an argument with valtyr about it, and I understand that she (Sharon) was mind-controlled, but that doesn't make it acceptable in my book. Still, v3 is great. I can't read v2 because I keep feeling nauseous when looking at the pages (*shakes head at Rob Liefeld*), and I've yet to read v4. I'm reading v5 mainly for Like the Touch of Rain, which is at a standstill thanks to my gaming. I need to write more.
