I thought I couldn't go to the big Halloween Dance Party on Saturday due to the Miami Delegation coming. However, it turns out we plan to bring the Miami guy to the party, so I can go after all. XD But thinking I couldn't go, I didn't prepare any costume ( Read more... )

Clowns are really scary to me! The permanent smile they have frozen on their face is just...*shudders*. That, and I also watched Stephen King's 'IT' when I was little and never looked at clowns the same way again. XD

I want to see your rendition though!

One of the contestants from the 'Talking about Your Generation' quiz show dressed up as Casanova for the Halloween episode. XD

If you're not so concerned about following the Halloween theme so much as just having a costume in general, what about something like a 'no face' creature? It'd be fairly simple to do, but effective?

Hmm, not a bad idea. How do you achieve a "no face" look though? Makeup or mask?

I'd say a mask, otherwise, something like a stocking over your head to hide facial details.

On another note, there's 'kaonashi' from Spirited Away, if you'd like a more convenient 'no face' outfit. ^^'

With the material over your head, you'd aim for a Rorschach like look, just without the patterns. Instructables has some instructions: http://www.instructables.com/id/how-to-make-a-rorschach-mask-1/#step1

Just get a giant pumpkin and fashion a way to sit inside it. :P

MY PLAN IS SOUND, AND USEFUL :P

Actually though, if you can get to a fabric store, it's fairly easy to go as an Ancient Greek women in a toga / chiton, where it's pinned / sewn at the shoulder/s. Then you just need some sort of head gear. Well, instructions on the internet make it sound easy, I haven't actually tried myself. :P

Haha, why, of all things, did you think of an Ancient Greek woman? xD It's sounds more like something down your alley. =P Plus, it's become too cold here to do that now. ^^;; Thanks for your suggestion though!
