Perhaps... given my personal angle of defiance... I must find a way to subvert this ideal. What is the counterpoint here? What is the answer? IS there no answer? I grasp for ways out of this reality with only the tools granted by this reality. Can a hammer break out of a wooden fortress built by itself? A horrifying thought: What if oblivion is not the counterpoint to existence but the goal of all that is? Perhaps it is this reality's goal to end, an end it has not yet reached! FIND A WAY OUT!

Why have I only the memories of this lifetime? What happens when I reach the end of this lifetime? You don't know! Don't pretend to know!

But what if "goal," given that such is a concept within this reality, is not something to be obtained by things beyond? What? Why? HOW?! Shall we goal or shall we not? What is the hidden option? What is the option not hidden? Hidden is a reality-based concept! Is there a beyond? Beyond is a concept of this reality! Can we get "out?" or is that yet another real-constrained ideal? Underneath? Real! Below? Real! Oblivion? Hmm... can any claim to have experienced oblivion? Of course not. Such is the essence of nonexistence. Transcendence? Another valid angle.

A coincidence that Wraith was "my" game? Perhaps... perhaps not. Was I meant to take up the mantle? Or is that another trapping of the reality in which we are confined?

Satisfaction and frustration... were I only so gifted with being concerned by such simple concepts. But perhaps "gifted" and "burdened" are ultimately, again, limitations of this reality.

"Fascinating?"

Perhaps "disinterested."

Oblivion calls.

How does one find an answer to reality when reality is the arena in which one plays? How does a player turn away from the game? Is an afterlife merely another layer to said game? What lies beyond?

Is anyone even following my train of thought at this point?
