Dang girl - if there was ever any doubt of us having the same blood...
My doctor did some blood tests several months ago and discovered that I'm anemic. Despite how crazy expensive it is, I've fallen in love with Floradix Iron + Herbs Liquid Extract Formula. On its own it tastes like raisin juice left in a tin can for a few days, but if you put a few drops of lemon juice in there, it tastes like really tart lemonade. Anyway, it has been a perfect solution because I have the most sensitive gut known to mankind, and even slow-release iron wreaked havoc upon my GI system. This stuff, at least at half the recommended daily dosage, is pretty awesome.
And I love that it comes in a glass bottle that will explode if you don't keep it in the fridge. Nothing like a little danger to go with your iron supplement! :)

I use a liquid, too, because we have the same GI system (I thought of you often as I carsicked my way back and forth across hilly, bendy St. John).
Raisin juice in a tin can basically covers it. gah! that's why I'd stopped taking it before! mine is fine at room temp, though. Still, I'll try the explosive iron next time!
