Last night's thing was good, but the new theme for this month is beauty, which made me itchy. First we had to write down a list of things in response to "if I were more beautiful, I would..." (including, a more beautiful parent, wife, etc - not just physical appearance) which I did dutifully, but I kept thinking of Raven saying that happiness is

As usual, beautiful (in every sense of the word) woman, you have given me much to ponder. This weight loss has thrown me a little off kilter around the idea of beautiful... but at the end of the day, the bottom line is I am beautiful. I had an opportunity lately to flaunt this a little bit (a situation where it was welcomed and expected) and at the time it was hot and wonderful and I felt completely free to do it but afterward, I blush with a little shame of it all. Yeah, I want to go back to living in the place where I can revel in it... and regardless of what I think other's think I look like. Because, really they care far, far less than I give them all credit for.

Revel in your beauty... you are gorgeous and the true beauty is knowing it and allowing it to touch others... and if they don't want to touch back... heh, more for the rest of us who do.

Yes I know those of us in CoMo are all beautiful, but you got more of the "societal" standard than most of us. Know what? That's ok. Know why? Because you are just as beautiful on the inside, and I love you for that. Ok, and I think you're hot too, but that is beside the point.

You are an amazing woman and your friends feel grateful that they have had the chance to know you.
