He flicks his wand and another rose bush disintegrates into ash. “Ten points from Hufflepuff, Mr. Smith.” The boy scurries off, hand in hand with his date, and Severus sneers as they flee. Disgusting. Pubescent and unnecessary activities on the grounds. They could be doing a great number of other things and yet these children spend the late hours after the Yule Ball snogging.
He lets his hands curl into fists and seeks out more punishable students. His mood is not as great as the laughing, giggling students, not with Karakoff hounding his every move.
Maybe Potter is still out.
