I...blank. Just blank.

Since I may be taking a sabbatical from obsessively following tennis since my favourite player is injured, here's a non-tennis post. I actually have stuff to write about, but I feel blank, since last week too, I think. I don't know. I'm probably just exhausted. I'm not even sure if it's because I'm really not just used to waking up early because of ( Read more... )

My god, I think you watch more spanish movies than I've ever done :p And congrats for that sobresaliente!! That's really great, I'm glad you're improving.

About the city... Well, I suposse Ibiza would be the whole island and not only the city because there's not much info about it. I can't help you with that, never been there. I live near Granada btw (it is a very beautiful city, wonderful).

Good luck with the class on Tuesday, I'm sure you're going to do it 'muy bien' :D

Shawn and his cutie self! :D

Yeah, just Ibiza town has like...teeny info. I don't even know what possessed me to take Ibiza, because I really wanted to do Granada or Mallorca, but I suppose I could start learning about it...

Aww, near Granada? ENVY! I was telling my classmate how I was going to tour the entire Andalucia region some-freaking-day. :D It's a beautiful place!

And I'm watching as much Spanish movies as I can to improve my listening ability. I don't understand much since my vocabulary is still limited, but I'm actually understanding a bit of stuff roughly and I'm getting used to how you guys speak, like not just the speed but the accent as well. Because I used to be unable to catch even simple sentences like '¿Qué haces?' and 'hasta luego'. It's like when I used to have a hard time listening to the Brits and their accent, lol.

Yep, I live in Málaga, the city next to Granada. I've been there lots of times and really, it's so beautiful <3 If you come to Andalucia someday you have to go there, and to Córdoba and Sevilla. Málaga has beautiful places too and the beaches in Huelva are the best in Andalucia.

You'll improve soon, watching movies is a very good way for the listening. Though I admit our accent is pretty difficult because it depends on where you live. For example a guy from Madrid won't talk the same way I do. Or even in the same Andalucia, people from Granada don't speak with the same accent I have. Yeah, difficult indeed. But at least you're catching simple sentences! That's very good :)

¡Hasta luego!

Oh, I have heard of Málaga and what a beautiful city it is. Honestly, I've been wondering if the entire region of Andalucia is made of such awesome.

Yeah, the different accents kill me! And it's not just that, but people of course speak in different speeds, so an accent I can't understand + speedy talker = me not understanding a thing. But it's great because it's a challenge that I actually like. :D

Al Sur de Granada is sooo pretty. I confess I only watched it for Matthew Goode, but yes, very pretty.

INKHEART IS BRILLIANT.

And Kings! And The Vampire Diaries. yes, Watch and then let me know how those go. :D

I must admit, I have been wanting to watch Al Sur de Granada primarily because of Matthew Goode. :D I need to see pretty in movies!

Is the Inkheart movie as good as the book? Haven't read the books, but I've always wondered about that.

I will! Kings has so much hotness it's going to kill me.

It's a very good reason to watch any movie, in my book. :)

I loved Inkheart (the movie). I really, really liked it. And I read the book, which I also liked but it's different than the movie and a bit slower.
