Pubs aren't scary but you kinda have to scout for nice ones. Just don't go to Wetherspoon's (a chain), they're awful!

No idea about the nice ones either, LOL. We saw one at the Town Centre; I'm not even sure if it's a pub, although tons of people were there when England was playing the other day. We were kidding about watching when England plays Germany just to see how the pub environment is like. :D
