Found this gem thanks to zeldabel one night when asthma was keeping me from sleep. And yet, to my delighted surprise, I discovered that while I go through this poem, slowly, savoringly, my breathing felt less labored, becoming slower and deeper. I love this. I want to do this for the books in my bookshelf. They're full of memories, inspirations, stories, the 'dye in my childhood' (loved that line).

This book poured its colors into my childhood so strongly, they remain a dye in my imagination today.

What a beautiful line. And I still own many beloved books that came apart in my hands.
