The deer are being extra-annoying today trouncing on our newly-seeded flower beds and getting dangerously close to our apple tree. We really do not have a large backyard, and we have no grass. Why don't they leave us alone?
My parents and a lot of coworkers have the same problem. There are specific flowers they won't eat like marigolds. Also you can try spraying your flowers with either hot pepper or some type of detergent. There are all types of recipes. I've heard that works as well but you have to recoat the plants after heavy rain storms.

My parents have one hell of a time with deer, too.
