Two words: French Fries.
We have made ketchup before, and we always said we should make it again when we had a lot of tomatoes, but it didn't occur to me. Thanks for the reminder.
We've been enjoying fresh tomato sauces and salsas for a while now...
Speaking of gazpacho, we made one the other week substituting a watermelon instead of tomatoes. An interesting twist on an old favorite that works quite well.

Watermelon gazpacho, eh? i am so totally going to have to crash at your place again and force you to make it for me. Because those are two of my summertime food loves, gazpacho and watermelon.
And why didn't I think of french fries? Silly me. I mean, heck, I have long considered french fries to be merely a venue for eating more ketchup... I guess it just doesn't occur to me to eat french fries without dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets as an accompaniment :P
