The most interesting thing that occurred

yesterday, by far, was driving Oscar to the bus stop. We were sitting around waiting for 3:30 to come around, expecting the bus to leave at 4:30. It wasn't until about 3:15 that he actually read his ticket and realized that the bus would leave at 4. What do you do when you wake up one day and realize that so many days have passed since you once knew this person
This person who you gave your whole heart and body to so long ago
This person who you talked for endless hours on the phone with and spent countless days just hanging around together
But when I think about it so much time has passed that we might just be unrecognizable to each other, but on the other hand maybe not (you can't hate me for being optimistic)
But yet today I woke up and all I could think about was this person and how much I just wanted to pick up the phone to tell you that I wish we would have stayed friends
Now all I can do is hold all of those moments that we shared together so long ago close to my heart, because I know that they could never happen again
All I could hope for is to recognize you if I ever saw you again

I guess you can call me crazy, but it wouldn't be the first time, I just wanted to let you know you'll always be my favorite guy
