i currently live in brisbane, australia. this is gmt+10 for those of you playing at home, and means my timezone is bullshit. it might not seem like it lately, because i moved to the city and have been looking for work for the past few months and therefore i went nocturnal and/or haven't been sleeping at all so that i can stay here and hang out with you all, but as of last week i am EMPLOYED so i can't do that anymore, it's back to missing every post ever 8(

i have... a serious jeremy renner affliction. it's becoming a serious problem. since that fucking singing post (fuck you alex) i have NOT STOPPED listening to him singing ONCE. i was dumb and ripped and downloaded everything i could get my hands on from movies and interviews and made a playlist and have had it on repeat for days, so any time anyone wants to send the emergency services my way, that would maybe be appreciated.
in the interests of this being a superhero rp i guess i should talk about that. i'm marvel to the bone, lbr, the only DC i'm familiar with is from the movies, so for those of you playing that side of things, i'm learning about your characters as my own characters do. i'm a hardcore marvel reader though, my favourite comics at the moment being new avengers and hawkeye, which you should definitely reading because for once in his life matt fraction is doing something other than iron fist right. (i also really love the old iron fist run!!!)
i love clint barton a lot. if that wasn't already obvious. he's my favourite until the ends of the earth, i will punch anyone who says bad things, basically. I ALSO SHIP HIM WITH EVERYONE. except jessica drew bc what is going on in comics rn. but seriously, comics wise my otp is clint/bobbi, and in the MCU i ship clint/tasha something fierce, but also in the MCU and especially fandom wise my otp is clint/coulson SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW TORN I AM AT ALL TIMES IN THIS RP.
my other favourite thing other than marvel is the west wing, which probably no one but me and erika and now emilie give a fuck about, but it's my number 1 ultimate fave show ever, accept no substitutes. also apparently i'm strange because i've never watched buffy and i've only ever seen maybe six episodes of doctor who so when you all continue using plots from these things, pls excuse my ignorance.
ummm what else. oh i keep seeing erika and sarah and jo freaking out about their boyfriends not knowing they rp and spying on their computers and shit but lbr, i did the opposite of this and bullied my girlfriend into joining instead so I WIN.
i'm currently in my second year of university studying creative writing?? i should have been finished by now tbh, except i got in a funk last year and decided to take a year off to save money and traveled around the world instead until i got my groove back, and then they wouldn't let me in because i missed the cut off date, and THEN i decided to switch universities and a bunch of my credits don't count anymore hahahahahahahaaha no so long story short i'm back to having about a year and a half to go, sigh. HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE WORTH IT although what the fuck are you supposed to do with a bachelor of creative writing, right???? IT'S NOT EVEN A BACHELOR OF ARTS, IT'S SPECIFICALLY CREATIVE WRITING wow i'm an idiot.
