People contradict themselves on a daily basis, it's human nature.
It's ridiculous that someone called you out on that.

I related this to my life so much. I know I need to do so many things and I'm aware that I'm more than capable of doing them, it's just a matter of doing it. I think most teenagers transcending into adulthood go through a state of mind like this. At least I hope so, otherwise we're just fucked.
