Today my computer's power cord decided it no longer wished to live. My computer, Tyrease Vanilla, had just alerted me that the battery power was low, so I plugged him in. After about five minutes of charging Sir Vanilla--as he rested comfortably upon my lap--smoke started to raise from the connection between the cord and the plastic part that plugs
