OK, I'm getting really fed up with what I'm seeing nowadays. I walk into stores and glance at the magazine section, and lo and behold, there are dozens of magazines with women on the cover that have their ribs sticking out, or have NO ASS, or have legs that are the same width as my arms. I've seen other women on the cover of GQ; Jessica Simpson was one of them, which is the only one I can remember. My brother subscribes, I'm sure he could cite more examples.
But I agree with you, which may be surprising coming from a guy. I think the worst part about these women is that, although they look typical when in print, if you ever see these models or whatever in real life they always look like freaks. I can't figure out for the life of me where people got the idea that THAT was attractive.

sorry, what I meant to say was that Jen Aniston was GQ's first "Woman of the Year" ever.
It's nice to hear that not all guys fantasize about girls who look like the broomsticks from Disney's "Fantasia"

I agree with you that this so-called ideal is a problem, but considering that half of Canadians are overweight or obese, I don't get all worked up over it when there are bigger (pun intended) problems.

yes obesity is a problem in Canada today......but I have a problem with seeing 90-pound women splashed on magazine covers and billboards. Young girls start to think that this is a healthy image and it warps their minds.
