Tonight I was watching Conan O'Brien interviewing rapper Ice-T. Now, I'm a fan of rap music, especially old school stuff, material from the underground, anything that shys away from the mainstream. i hate gangsta rap and hip hop and pimp culture. i wish it didn't evolve to that and was still fun, like it was in the 80's.

All I can say is Three Cheers for Bill Cosby.

While I think he definitely over-simplifies the nature of the problem, I do agree that a lot of the problems are self-inflicted, vis a vis the "pimpin'" subculture.

You know what? I love Bill Cosby.....I don't know why lots of people have been criticizing his observations, because they make sense. I guess it is hard for people to hear the truth.
