I also apologise for the fact that J2-related plotbunnies I've been coming up with of late all seem to be musically related.
BUT, I was listening to the Gilmore Girls theme song the other day, and had the BEST idea - what if Jensen sang this to Jared?
I was thinking originally that he dragged Jared out to a karaoke or somethin in an attempt to cheer him up after his break-up with Sandy, BUT I think it'd be great is Chad was there, so maybe Jared's bday? Maybe even Chris and Steve could play whilst Jensen sings?
Although established relationship would work, I would rather it be some kind of revelation fic. Either Jensen was pursuaded to do it by Chris/Chad, as they knew the lyrics to the song would reveal Jensen's feelings (or, in Chad's case, maybe he KNEW Jared felt the same and just needed Jensen to reveal HIS feelings so his best bud would stop whining!)
OR Jensen decided to sing it simply to make Jared laugh (could still be to cheer him up post-breakup) and it was only whilst he was singing that he realised how much the song revealed his feelings.
Basically, I want Jensen to sing the song, and as a result, Jared gets on the clue bus and its all happy fluffy bunny ending.
