dammit! i read the faq and tried FOUR times!! and i still cant get the damn lj cut to work.

isnt it just as easy as putting <.l.j.-.c.u.t.> and <./.l.j.-.c.u.t.> ??? on each side of what i wanna hide?
(of course with out the .'s)

then put your material you want behind the cut
then

oh.. i thought i didnt have to put the lj text part, cuz it already has a default set, and text altering is not required.
