i'm so glad you shared this with us, kristy...i think that it really helps to write about your life and reflect on where you came from and where you are now...you have been through a lot...give yourself credit for how much you have grown...and remember that there will be more hard times, ups and downs, but you will look back on those, too, someday, and you will be in an even better spot than you are now, you'll see... ;)

youre very right. you learn from everything. i know that ill never touch a drug, especially when i have my kids. and ill also stay away from the alcohol. and im going to be close to my kids. i know the pain of distance ;D
