I just found this fic. It's very, very beautiful, and also very educational for someone who knows nothing about gender dysphoria - reading about it like this really makes me see what kinds of challenges transgender people may face.

I won't say too much since the resolution to this incident is still coming (tonight hopefully) but I will say that while this whole first half of ch 6 wasn't actually in the original outline, it's turned out to be very important for their relationship going forward, imo, and now I can't imagine cutting it. :)
