I went to Yokohama 2005 International Triennale Of Contemporary Art yesterday which was really interesting and fun. I got a free ticket from my Japanese Cultural Exchange teacher because it was sponsored by Japan Foundation which he used to work for. It would have been 1,300yen (about 6pounds 50p) if we didn't have a ticket but it was soooo worth ( Read more... )

This past week has been one of the best weeks so far since being in Japan. I went to work on tues and wed and was told on wed that I don't have to go to work until next sunday (27th) due to the fact that no one wants to come to our restaurant because its so damn expensive. So I went to Kyoto for a few days (Nov.2nd-Nov.4th) and had to work sat and sun (today) to make up for it. Luckily todays wedding was a buffet style and there was left overs so we got to have it for dinner only there was this bizarre pizza with salmon (i think) on it and what looked like caviar underneath it, i only noticed when i took a bite. Went to the Ramen Museum on the 25th (tues) for the Experiential Activity class. We go out and experience stuff and we get one credit. Not very educational but quite fun.
