French makes me nervous

Our French play is tomorrow night and I'm scaaaared because the last time I checked I was not an actor. We had our dress rehearsal on Tuesday night and I think it went pretty well. The guy I act with reminds me of Gregoire

yeah, les examens oraux sont toujours terrible. i suggest getting drunk, which is what i did for a presentation last semester. i drank an amalgam of my roommate's liquor mixed with dr. pepper and skipped off to give a talk about slavery in Martinique.

which play are you performing?

i understand your pain. french is great for watching gerard depardieu movies and for knowing what non-pareil means on the boxes of chocolates, but other than that sort of stuff, it's scary. let me know how it goes.

We wrote our own plays and my group did a takeoff on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, called French Eye for the American Guy (I forgot the French title they gave it).
I was super nervous, but it went really well. I didn't mess up.

My oral exam is in two hours. No matter how the word "oral" is used, it always sounds funny to me.

Oh! It went well, actually. Everyone in my group was freaking out and some messed up their lines a little, but nothing huge. And I had a Red Bull right before we went on, so I was extra jittery and had to pee a lot, but it was fun.
