yeah, I know how tough my dad was on me. I was the youngest too. Took him until about 20 to really feel ok about what I've done with my life (by then I was living on my own, working a full time job with benefits for more than a year and was well on my way to being engaged to be married). He just had to understand that what I'm doing is what's best for me, whether it's how he'd have me live my life or not. Most of the friends I had in high school were in college (or on average 4 years older than me).
I know it's tough, just hang in there. It'll be over before you know it and then you'll wonder where it went. Can't say I ever wish I was your age again, though. I think those are the toughest years.
Then again, I can't really say I made it easy on myself. I was into all sorts of trouble. ;]
