Those spaz moments happen to me everytime I'm in the kitchen. I once got the bright idea to throw all the water out of the pot while making soup. Soup! which has the key ingredient is water. It was a long story and bad phone reception. Yay for the chemistry its not as hard as people make it sound. It just understanding stuff.
