So my mom was just hanging up my report card on the fridge (yes, she still does this for all of us... lame, I know but I love my mommy!) and she noticed I got a D+ on my calc midterm. OH she kinda flipped! It took some time but I think she now accpets my C in the class overall (3 A's and a C.... I don't see why she wouldn't!). She can't understand

Yea, having gone through it myself last year (and with Mr. A's dang AP History to top it all off) I can honestly say how much of a struggle Calc I is. I had to work my ass off even though it might not seem like I did...but I was in Mohler's room after school the majority of the year doing homework, practicing, etc. besides occasionally putting in extra time on my own besides that. And your argument is very valid, as tough as Mohler is and as often as kids are crying about their 60% test grades, they definetely benefit by the end of the year when they get their AP scores back. I think Mohler is aware of this....she just pushes kids to their max...especially towards the end of the year...i specifically remember her saying to me last year "Heidi, this is good, but I expect more out of you" after I was two points away from receiving a 5 on our first practice test. So, just keep your head up like you're doing and in the end all of your hard work will be worth it =) I <3 u Lyndsey <3
