yep. right now, when the military sends you somewhere, you usually stay there for 4 years, and then you'll be sent somewhere else, if you stay in.
I went to South Africa with a church group. There was a huge program that you signed up for, and the people leading it get to know you and your strengths, and then put you into groups and pick a part of the world for you to go...so I was sent to South Africa.
yeah, there are "seventh heaven" type churches in America...but that's not really the type of church I'm looking for. Churches in Europe and really different than America. I mean, I live in a town that's about 35,000 people, so in a town that small, there will be less choices than where I grew up in America.
yeah, the town I'm in right now is smaller than the population of the university I went to! haha
for now, i'm enjoying the moving around. I like seeing different places, and I get kinda "antsy" after being one place for a while. my feelings may change as we get older and our (future) kids start school, but for now I like it. Plus, when you move every few years, you're forced to go through all your "junk" and get rid of stuff you don't use very often. It helps keep the clutter down...and lord knows I need all the help I can get!
