(no subject)
Well my dad is in Vancouver
this week (lucky jerk) and my mom went up north with my sister and the
kids. Dave went to his cottage and I get the house all to myself for
the weekend. I love it. I get to play my music on the surround sound
stereo. take long showers. eat whatever I want.
Also since I got a new job and they want me to start monday (!) I got to go shopping! and what's more, my mom offered to pay for it :D. I didn't know what to do with myself. I was shocked. But I was a smart shopper, I got so many sales. Amazing sales. I'm proud of myself :)
I took Tyson for a run last night after I got home in my new jacket (purchased pre-shopping excursion '05) my God, that thing is warm! I didn't realize it's potential until I saw some guy in his winter coat shivering. he he, that's Hurley for ya ;) always lookin out for their top customers.
Everything's really coming together, my mom flat out told me that now that I can afford insurance my dad plans on buying me a car. Then I won't have to feel guilty about riding in the 'stang, nor will I have to deal with the aftermath of borrowing the Volvo to visit Franks, cause that was ugly.
Anyway, I was looking at the calendar and I realized I really need to kick my shopping into gear. I decided to start shopping early for people's birthdays. And though I started on Franca's a long time ago there are still like a million things to get done.
It also just occured to me that I get my first pay cheque on her birthday ;) that'll come in handy.
Yesterday after my interview we went to Mandarin for lunch and "Alex's Birthday". I can't lie, I really like free pictures and the little magnetic frame you get with them :) super cute. I've got a collection going now.
Well, I'm gonna go for another run with Tyson... because I can, folks :p
