I cannot believe I am updating.  I have not updated in forever.

New things:

I cannot stand my mother.  Well, that is not new, but it seems like it.  It is an everyday occurance that we fight.  I don't want to go to FSU next year, but I feel as if it is going to be my only choice because I cannot handle her.  For instance, Misty, my sister and I, ( Read more... )

These people evidently have no want for the child - so why shouldn't they have ended it before it became a life?

I also go by the Jewish definition of life, which says Life begins the moment life is breathed into the child - aka, when the child can breathe on it's own. Otherwise, it's just considered tissue.

I think there are so many children in the world who aren't wanted, and then live in homes where they are dismissed, and not given all the care they deserve. I say, "Would you rather have a physically neglected "child" of 2 months, of an emotionally neglected child for a lifetime".

Okay, hope that helps!

By the way, since I haven't said hello or been LJ-ing in forever, hello!

Your mother sounds special indeed.

WHY HAVE I NOT HEARD ABOUT JAMESON? WHY DID CAITLIN HAVE TO EXPLAIN TO ME? WHY?

Anyway. Look who's seducing now, LRo XD

Reason:
A problem with the pregnancy which will result in the death of the mother (and by association probably the death of the infant) if the pregnancy is taken to term. This actually happens, I can find specifics if you like.

On which point-- even if the infant could be saved and the mother will die-- is it justified? There is the possibility that the baby's father/sibling/grandparent etc. will blame it for the mother's death. I KNOW THAT IS RIDICULOUS, I'm just saying it's how people work.

I know you probably already know this, but in court Biblical or religious evidence probably won't hold up. Just making sure you have other stuff.

Which I am sure you do, because you appear to have this totally under control.

Well, actually, the biblical stuff can be used because this is an "ethics" court, so basically any ethical reason for doing something goes.

Thanks for the points guys. I present my case on Monday. Carmen is my expert witness.

I'm going to devote all day Sunday preparing this. I'm even going to bring in pictures to the court, which no one has done yet.

Shira- Hello! I know this is a typical answer to that question, but there is always adoption. I'm adopted!
