The Raincoats | Fairytale In The Supermarket: always on top, my favorite band forever and ever LOLOLOLZ.

Mission of Burma | Red: bass line awesome. although most mission of burma songs are quite lovely.

The Pastels | Nothing to be Done: just really good.

Liz Phair | Soap Star Joe: i don't actually like liz phair that much, actually almost not at all. but i really dig this song and i really don't know why. maybe i DO like her but i don't know it.

The Barbarians | Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl: fucking really rockin 60s underground pop.

i suppose there are others, but i have really spent way too much time doing this because i'm waiting for my gel to solidify so i can run some digested bacteria cells using electrophoresis. NERD POWER!

Soap star Joe is one of the few Liz Phair songs that I wont skip if it comes up when shuffling my music collection. And I heart Fairytale in the Supermarket so much I'll say I heart it in a public forum. Nuggets compilations ruuuuulllllleeeee!!!!

hmmmmm i'm going to go with six songs that I'm interested in currently because if it was favorites it would be boring or i'd get stressed out!

DNA- egomaniac's kiss I was really into this song during the beginning of senior year of high school when I only had the No New York compilation. Then I lost the cd and was really sad and when I went to visit Joanna at the beginning of the school year we went to see Q and not U and it was sort of boring and there was this neat little distro that we looked at instead of watching the band and I found the whole freakin DNA cd and bought it without question. I didn't really sit down and listen to it over and over until about two months ago and this song really stands out as an amazing track even though I already knew that. It sounds like decomposing.

Star Kings- advanced cats This is off of the Real Slow Radio Mixtape on the Fort Thunder website. I think it's really quiet and nice but not without still being badass. The guitar has an interesting almost country twang to it which is pretty cool

Western Flayer- Kill the XXXXXXX on The Matt Brinkman note, here is a song by Mindflayer on the Real Slow Radio Country Western mix. http://www.fortthunder.org/mmm/rsr-cw/15.mp3 . As you may know this is 1/2 forcefield and 1/2 lightning bolt and 1 whole amazing. I think the beginning is fucking unbelievable. The drums are seriously getting the shit smacked out of them. This is noise that brings the bizarre distortion attack as well as the fervent instrument abusing. Like, TAKE THAT! FUCK YEAH! FUCK MAN! Towards the end it all just sort of goes to pieces and there is no reason for anything and then it's over and you're like ....huh?
