I was sitting in my room (3rd floor) doing homework when I heard some yelling from outside. It got louder and louder until I could finally make it out: "TURN OFF THAT MUSIC!"
Haha, I rule.

niiice. One of the things I regret most about not living on campus this year is not being able to piss people off by blasting my awesome, noisy music. I never had the speakers last year to do it. alas...

It was Friends Forever (one of Load Records' psycho amazing punk/noise bands). You should check them out:

Carnisaur! Fists of lightning teeth of steel! Carnisaur! Run for cover or be his next meal.

that happened so many times to me last year willie. i would be wearing my HEADPHONES in the study lounge and some anal girl would come over and ask me to turn it down because i guess it seeps into the air and she's rendered completely impotent to study or learn.

lol, anyway, i guess we just rock too hard for these kids.

I had neighbours like you... except they had a lot of parties, and didn't make us pay for the liquor.

Hehe, the room I'm in now was inhabited last year by a guy who fancied hip hop and the more "popular" forms of classic rock (Led Zeppelin, The Doors, etc). But basically it was a hip hop semi-party room.

I arrive on campus to claim my new domain, and the house chair (our version of an RA) asked me (extrapolation) "so are you going to blast hip hop and rap?" I was like "Nope! Metal will be blasting from these walls!"

The nature of the room has completely changed now that I'm here!
