*hugs* T-T *hugs* ToT i am almost brought to tears right now because my friend and his brother...their best friend in the entire world that he called sister (and a friend he said he'd marry because he treasures her so much)
died of Lupus...PLEASE DON'T GO! I'LL START TO CRY!!! opps..to late
Ha ha. You don't want the messed up dreams I've had since being out of the hospital. Trust me...if you heard this one dream, you'd think I was on crack or something.
That's a raw deal. Poor Heidi! You are owed many hugs, be sure to remind me when I finally get to see you so you can collect.
My mother-in-law has Lupus, and has since I've known her and longer than that, so I know a bit about it. Right now she's getting plasma treatments and that seems to be making a world of difference for her. The treatment is called IVIG - Intravenous ImmunoGlobulin infusions. You might ask about it. When I was healthier myself, I used to donate, so it's had a profound effect on my view of the world knowing someone personally who could use what I gave.
For anyone who wants to do something to help those who suffer from Lupus, you might point them to the Red Cross. There will never be enough blood, whole and otherwise, to help everyone who needs it and even now they're finding new ways to treat a variety of ailments with blood so the need will only continue to grow.
I'm glad to hear that the treatments are working. So we'll be buddies in getting well together :3
Well, if you still throw me in the dealer's room you have to play Ralph Lauren with me. Ralph Lauren = cooler version of Marco Polo.
Oooooh, haunted house! I could try, but the lupus is a real jerk somedays, and even a step or two means I'm exhausted. That and when I don't look so yucky - it's really gross looking - like I have a waterlogged pouch and could carry a kangaroo. That kind of yuck.
